  • Duties: Clean the cover (inside & out) and keep the letters in the storage box clean and organized. Notify the church office if we need more letters.
  • How often: Once or twice a year and checking occasionally the storage box.
  • Questions: Contact the church office – a key is required.

5. Grounds along the parking lot from the preschool corner to the nursery corner (following the railings – Eastside)

  • Duties are: Landscaping/yard work. Pull weeds, trim plants, remove and throw away trash, dead plants and keep that area clean.
  • How often: as needed – checking the area at least every other month for trash. Pruning will need to be done more regularly during the summer. 
  • Questions: Contact the church office.

6. ADOPTED - Island by the eastside entrance to the church by the drop-off area.

  • Duties are: Landscaping/yard work. Pull weeds, trim plants, remove and throw away trash, dead plants and keep that area clean.
  • How often: As needed – checking the area at least every other month for trash. Pruning will need to be done more regularly during the summer. 
  • Questions: Contact the church office.

7. ADOPTED - Cement flower bed by the street and behind Norpoint Preschool sign

  • Duties are: The cement container/frame is broken and may need to be torn down and replaced. The bed needs landscaping/yard work. Pull weeds, trim plants, remove and throw away trash and dead plants. Keep the area clean.
  • How often: As needed – checking the area at least every other month for trash. Pruning will need to be done more regularly during the summer. 
  • Questions: Contact the church office.

8. ADOPTED - The hillside between the lower parking lot and mid-level parking lot

  • Duties are: Landscaping/yard work. Pull weeds, trim plants, remove and throw away trash, dead plants and keep that area clean.
  • Questions: contact the church office.

9. ADOPTED - Courtyard in the East Campus building

  • Duties are: Landscaping/yard work. Pull weeds, trim plants, remove and throw away trash, dead plants and keep that area clean.
  • How often: As needed – checking the area at least every other month for trash. Pruning will need to be done more regularly during the summer.

13. ADOPTED - Removal of trash – church building

  • Duties are: Empty the trash cans in all rooms of the church building and throw them away in the dumpster off of McKenzie Hall.
  • How often: Every Monday. We have someone already doing this but could use others so have some break times.
  • Questions: contact the church office – keys are required.

14. Hillside between the church and Norpoint Preschool (three trees)

  • Duties are: Landscaping/yard work. Pull weeds, trim plants, remove and throw away trash, dead plants and keep that area clean.
  • How often: as needed – checking the area at least every other month for trash. Pruning will need to be done more regularly during the summer.

15. Walkway between the caretaker’s house and the gravel parking lot

  • Duties are: Landscaping/yard work. Pull weeds, trim plants, remove and throw away trash, dead plants and keep that area clean.

16. ADOPTED - Grounds around the Bike Shop

17. ADOPTED - Grounds around the church office

  • Duties are: Landscaping/yard work. Pull weeds, trim plants, remove and throw away trash, dead plants and keep that area clean.

18. ADOPTED - Large hedges around the church office/bike shop/caretaker’s house

  • Duties are: Keeping the hedges trimmed and maintained.
  • How often: Once or twice a year (as needed).
  • Questions: contact the church office.

19. ADOPTED - Church pews and red padded chairs

  • Duties are: Clean and vacuum the chairs and pews to remove all the hair and lint.
  • How often: Ideally, it would be quarterly but for sure before every major holiday.
  • Questions: Contact the church office.

20. ADOPTED - Church windows

  • Duties are: Clean the interior and exterior windows of the church building.
  • How often: Once or twice a year – especially before the fall kick-off and before Easter.
  • Questions: Contact the church office – key is required.

21. East Campus windows

  • Duties are: Clean the interior and exterior windows of the East Campus bldg.
  • How often: Once or twice a year – especially before the fall kick-off and before Easter.
  • Questions: Contact the church office – key is required.

22. ADOPTED - Costume Closet

  • Duties are:  Clean and organize the costume closet. Create an inventory list and possibly a check-out list.
  • How often: Once to get it organized and cleaned and an inventory and check-out list created. After that, quarterly or twice a year.
  • Questions: Contact the church office – key is required.

23. Stage Rooms – East Campus Building

  • Duties are: Clean and organize the rooms off the stage area in the East Campus gym.
  • How often: Once to get it organized and cleaned out, then twice a year to keep it that way.
  • Questions: Contact the church office – key is required.

24. ADOPTED - Table Cloth Closet and Cabinet

  • Duties are: To collect all the table cloths from around the church and East Campus and organize them. Some may need to be cleaned and some pressed. Create an inventory sheet for each building.
  • How often: Once to get them organized and inventoried. Then maintained once or twice a year or as needed.
  • Questions: Contact the church office – key is required.

25. ADOPTED - Medical Equipment Room

  • Duties are: To organize and inventory all the medical equipment. Also, to label all equipment with a “belongs to”… label. This room may be relocated and in that case the items would need to be moved.
  • How often: Once to get the room organized – once or twice a year to maintain or as needed.
  • Questions: Contact the church office – key is required.

26. ADOPTED - Kitchen in McKenzie

  • Duties are: Keep the refrigerator in McKenzie kitchen clean and throw away old food or not labeled food items. Place a sign on the doors with extra labels and a pen.  This includes the freezer as well.
  • How often: Once or twice a month or occasionally checking it throughout the year. This cannot be done during Preschool hours and should contact the church office for any conflicts in scheduling.
  • Questions: Contact the church office – key is required.

27. ADOPTED - Children’s Ministry Supply Closet

  • Duties are: To clean and organize the storage room and label as needed.
  • How often: As needed.
  • Questions: Contact the church office – key is required.

28. ADOPTED - Grounds on the corner of 21st Avenue

  • Duties are: Landscaping/yard work. Cut down weeds, trim plants, remove and throw away trash, dead plants and keep that area clean.
  • How often: as needed – checking the area at least every other month for trash. Pruning will need to be done more regularly during the summer. 
  • Questions: contact the church office.

29. ADOPTED – End cap of ground area with family donated tree – main parking lot

  • Duties are: Landscaping/yard work. Pull weeds, trim plants, remove and throw away trash, dead plants and keep that area clean.
  • How often: As needed – checking the area at least every other month for trash. Pruning will need to be done more regularly during the summer. 
  • Questions: Contact the church office.

30. ADOPTED – Dumpster Area off McKenzie

  • Duties are: To remove and dump the plastic play house and keep the area around the dumpster clean.
  • How often: Once to get it cleaned up and then as needed. Checking occasionally.
  • Questions: Contact the church office.

31. ADOPTED - Electrical Work

  • Duties are: To maintain, replace, repair, etc - electrical work that is needed to be done around the church facilities.
  • How often: As needed. Checking occasionally each month or more often to be sure all lights are functioning properly.
  • Questions: Contact the church office.

32. ADOPTED - Maintenance of Doors and Locks

  • Duties are: To maintain, replace, repair, etc - each and every door within the church buildings (including all 5 - church, East Campus, office, bike shop and Caretaker's). There are some doors that are to remain unlocked and need to be fixed that way.
  • How often: As needed or instructed by the office staff.
  • Questions: Contact the church office.

33. ADOPTED - Children's Library - Book shelves

  • Duties are: To maintain, organize, keep clean and straighten.
  • How often: Once a month.
  • Questions: Contact the church office.
