Welcome to Music Ministries, here at Marine View we have a lot of different aspects to our music ministry. From the Mozart Requiem in 2006, to our Children’s Country-Western Christmas Musical in 2007, there’s literally something for everyone. Our hope is that you’ll be able to find something in our worship area that you can plug into; even if it’s helping set up chairs, no task is too small! Here is a small description of some of the fun things we have going on at Marine View.

Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is open to all singers ages high-school and up. This is a non-auditioned ensemble, however, some experience and reading skills are helpful. Rehearsals are selected Thursdays in the sanctuary at 7:00 from September through June. The choir performs a wide body of music literature and undertakes large productions such as the Festival of Christmas and the Easter Musical each year.
Children’s Choirs
Marine View’s children’s choirs provide an excellent opportunity to learn and communicate biblical truths through music. Bi-Weekly rehearsals are fun and fast paced where musical and spiritual instruction is given in a loving environment. The children’s music program is preparing a Christmas Musical in December entitled “Christmas At Bethlehem Gulch”
Handbell Choir
The Hand Bell Choir rehearses on Monday nights at 7:00 in the sanctuary and performs regularly in morning worship. Hand bell choir meets from September through May and also participates in the annual Festival of Christmas and Thanksgiving Eve programs. This ensemble also performs in local churches occasionally and is open to all musicians ages high school and up. Music reading is essential. Media & Technical Services
Marine View’s technical ministry is an integral part of what happens in every department of the church. Providing sound, lighting, and video support to the church is no small undertaking! Those who serve in this ministry find great fulfillment in being a part of a team who love the Lord and have a great time serving the church. Contact person: Dale Armstrong at 927-2725.
Worship Music Team
The Worship Music Team performs for our contemporary service and meets year round. They rehearse on selected Thursdays at 7:00 in the sanctuary and also participate in large productions such as the Festival of Christmas, Thanksgiving Eve service, and the Summer Concert in the Park. This group includes singers, guitars, electric bass, drummers, percussionists, and keyboard players. Membership is by audition.
Youth Worship Band
The youth worship band practices twice a month on selected Saturdays. They perform occasionally in morning worship as well as other venues such as youth retreats, our summer Concert in the Park and at other churches.
Assist in worship by becoming a member of the Chancel Choir, Children's Choir, Handbell Choir, Media & Technical Services, Worship Music Team or the Youth Worship Band. Contact: Brad Klostreich, Music Ministries Director at 927-0557
